AI patrol inspection

Every patrolbecomes aninspection.

Patrolens turns the photos and video your teams already take on their rounds into findings that are checked, mapped and ready to report. The AI flags damage, defects, obstructions and hazards. A person confirms every one.

01How it works

From a round to a report, without anyone retyping anything.

  1. 01

    Capture

Your team follows a planned route on an Android handheld with spoken turn prompts, or takes photos at each checkpoint. The GPS track, the video or photos, and the time all come back together.

  2. 02

    Detect

A detector scans every frame for the lapse types you have switched on and proposes candidates, each tied to a time and a place on the route.

  3. 03

    Verify

A vision-language model looks again at each candidate and answers a question written for that type. Is that a crack or a shadow? Is the exit really blocked? You choose which types get this second check.

  4. 04

    Review & report

A supervisor confirms, dismisses, corrects the type or the box, or adds what the AI missed. Findings land on the map and in reports by site, route, round or date range.

▶Watch

Patrolens, start to finish.

From the round to the report: capture, detection, a second check, a person’s decision, the map and the report.

Illustrated, not filmed on a customer site. Captions on screen.

02The platform

One system, from the site to the report.

A handheld app built for the field

Planned routes, spoken turn prompts, an off-route warning, live coverage of what has been walked, and photos or video on the spot. A round keeps going without signal and uploads when it can.

Review in one click

Every finding carries its evidence image, time, place and the model that produced it. Confirm, dismiss, change the type, redraw the box or add one that was missed.

Live operations map

Findings, hotspots, routes and where your teams are, on one map, filtered by type, status and date.

Reports managers will read

Reports by route, round or any date and time range, graded by severity, in PDF, Excel or CSV.

Lapse types you define

Add a new kind of problem from the console: what to look for, and the question the AI should answer about it. Switch each type, and its second check, on or off.

Models that learn from your reviews

Every confirmation and correction becomes training data. A retrained model goes live only if it does at least as well as the current one on a fixed test set.

03Industries

For every team that walks a route or works a checklist.

Start with what your inspectors already check. These are the lapses we are starting with in Singapore.

  • Trained today
  • Set up on your footage
  • 01

    Lifts & escalators

For Lift contractors, town councils, MCSTs and building owners

    • Debris in door sills
    • Damaged button panels
    • Lights out in the car
    • Vandalism and soiling
    • Water or rubbish in the pit
    • Oil leaks in the machine room
    • Broken comb-plate teeth

Most lifts here must be serviced at least monthly by a registered contractor. The photos from each visit become a checked, timestamped record.

  • 02

    Estates & property

For Town councils, MCSTs and managing agents

    • Corridor obstructions
    • Items in riser and hose-reel compartments
    • Spalling concrete and cracks
    • Water seepage
    • Corridor and staircase lights out
    • Stagnant water
    • Litter and bulky items (Trained today)

Common corridors must keep a 1.2 m clear escape path, and fire hazards in common areas are the estate manager’s to answer for.

  • 03

    Power & utilities

For Substation, solar and EV-charging operators, and telcos

    • Oil leaks and corrosion
    • Gates and doors left open
    • Missing danger signs
    • Vegetation on fences and equipment
    • Water seepage in cable tunnels
    • Soiled or cracked solar panels
    • Damaged EV chargers

Substations, cable tunnels, rooftop solar and street cabinets are still mostly checked by someone walking past them.

  • 04

    Facilities management

For Malls, offices, hospitals and schools

    • Blocked fire exits
    • Fire doors propped open
    • Exit signs not lit
    • Obstructed extinguishers and hose reels
    • Wet floors and spills
    • Dirty toilets
    • Ceiling stains and damaged boards

One walk-through covers fire safety, cleanliness and repairs, instead of three separate checklists.

  • 05

    Construction sites

For Main contractors and workplace safety officers

    • Stagnant water
    • Poor housekeeping
    • Missing edge protection
    • Uncovered floor openings
    • No helmet or safety vest
    • Mud on public roads at exits
    • Damaged hoarding

Mosquito breeding alone has earned construction sites stop-work orders. A daily photo round catches it before an inspector does.

  • 06

    Security patrols

For Security agencies and in-house security teams

    • Doors, gates and shutters left open
    • Damaged locks and fencing
    • Lights off that should be on
    • Blocked fire engine access ways
    • Vandalism and graffiti
    • Signs of intrusion

The GPS track and coverage map show the round was walked. The findings show what was seen on it.

  • 07

    Roads & transport

For Road maintenance contractors and transport operators

    • Potholes and cracks
    • Faded road markings
    • Damaged railings, kerbs and signs
    • Signs hidden by vegetation
    • Streetlights out
    • Damaged bus-stop seats and panels
    • Overgrown verges (Trained today)

Vehicle patrols are supported as well as foot patrols, so a road inspector can cover their stretch from the car.

  • 08

    Drainage & waterways

    For Drainage and waterway contractors

    • Choked drains (Trained today)
    • Litter in drains (Trained today)
    • Overgrown drains (Trained today)
    • Silt build-up
    • Damaged gratings and covers
    • Bank erosion
    • Silty discharge from nearby works

A choked drain is a flood risk in the next downpour, and a breeding spot after it.

  • 09

    Parks & greenery

    For Landscape and tree-care contractors

    • Fallen branches (Trained today)
    • Overgrown vegetation (Trained today)
    • Leaves on paths (Trained today)
    • Litter (Trained today)
    • Leaning trees
    • Damaged playground equipment
    • Broken benches and shelters

After a storm, one round puts every fallen branch on the route onto the map.

  • 10

    Warehousing & logistics

For Warehouse operators, 3PLs and industrial estates

    • Damaged racking
    • Blocked aisles and exits
    • Spills on the floor
    • Damaged pallets
    • Unsafe stacking
    • Missing safety signage

A bent rack upright is easy to walk past and expensive to ignore.

  • 11

    Food centres & F&B

For Food centre operators, food courts and coffee shops

    • Uncleared tables and trays
    • Overflowing bins (Trained today)
    • Litter on the floor (Trained today)
    • Wet floors
    • Signs of pests
    • Dirty toilets

Rounds through the lunch peak show which zones fall behind, and when.

  • 12

    Cleaning services

For Cleaning contractors, and the clients who audit them

    • Litter (Trained today)
    • Dumped bags and bulky waste (Trained today)
    • Overflowing or dirty bins (Trained today)
    • Choked or littered drains (Trained today)
    • Animal carcasses (Trained today)
    • Fallen leaves and branches (Trained today)

The most mature module: every lapse listed here has a trained detector today.

Something else your teams inspect?

Tell us what they check. If a camera can see it, we can scope a module for it with you.

Lapses marked as set up on your footage are not switched on by default. We collect and label examples with your team, train on them, and turn each one on once it passes a test set we agree with you.

04Trust

Built to be checked.

  1. 01

    A person decides

The AI proposes and a reviewer decides. A dismissed finding drops out of every count, report and hotspot.

  2. 02

    Evidence on every record

Each finding keeps its image, time, location and the version of the model that found it, so any figure in a report traces back to what was seen.

  3. 03

    No outside AI services

Every model runs on infrastructure we operate. Your footage is never sent to a third-party AI provider.

  4. 04

    Access on the record

Sign-ins, exports, setting changes and every view of footage go into an append-only log that cannot be quietly edited.

Security and governance

  • Role-based access, including custom roles such as a view-only control centre
  • Tamper-evident, hash-chained audit trail
  • Failed sign-ins and refused requests logged
  • Encrypted in transit (TLS)
  • Footage streamed through the service, never handed out as shareable links
  • Retention schedule with secure erasure of raw footage
